THE WEIRDEST THING JUST HAPPENED

Okay so I was feeding my merlin falcon outside today, y’know, like a bird nerd

And we were just minding our own business

And aLL OF THE SUDDEN

A MOOSE WALKS BY

I DO NOT LIVE IN A MOOSEY AREA. THERE ARE NO MOOSE IN THE VALLEY I LIVE IN

AND YET

THERE WAS MOOSE

I WAS JUST TRYING TO FEED MY FALCON

AND THIS MOOSE JUST WALKS RIGHT BY, NOT 40 FEET FROM WHERE I STOOD

APPARENTLY, SOMEONE DID NOT GET THE MEMO

Moose Fact Time

Moose are DANGEROUS!

They will charge you if provoked

They can run at 35 mph

They can swim at 6 mph

You are not safe from angry moose

Moose weigh 1200-1500 lbs

Moose are called ‘elk’ in Europe

Common moosey areas include (but are not limited to) Yellowstone NP, Glacier NP, Alaska, Montana, Wyoming and Canada

Moose shed their antlers every year

Moose are going endgangered :(

If you see moose, go the other way. Moose can kill you

If a moose is running at you, you can use bear spray and pray to your God
