The Trumpet Thief[Closed RP]

Emerald frowned as she touched her wrist. Seriously, who was this guy and how did he catch her out there like that? There’s only a handful of people who she hasn’t been able to successfully play – now he really had a hold of her attention. She held her hands up in defeat, a slightly smug smile on her face and not very apologetic. “Sorry about that, old habits die hard.” She got made out, there was no point in trying to cover it up anymore. “You do still have a nice butt, though.” She winked.
“The very same.” She lowered herself in a small curtsy. “Yeah, they were still pretty good. Didn’t go down too easy, it was a fun fight from start to finish.” Her eyes wandered his frame as she spoke. Admiring but also noticing the defensive stance he had taken up. A small smirk tugged up on her lips. She knew better than to try for the same target twice in the same day but he made it so tempting being on guard like that. What self respecting thief didn’t like a challenge? Crossing her arms she shifted her weight. “Too bad you guys didn’t win, you and your teammate put up a great fight. Very entertaining.”
She said he had a cute butt. Flynt blinked. While she admitted to trying to rob him. Well then. She was pretty good looking herself. “It’s fine. One of my teammates is a kleptomaniac. Never takes their medication. They give me all the practice in the world. You learn a thing or two from them after the fifty fourth time they’ve stolen your belongings.” He chuckles, maybe that’s why he was willing to be friendly with this person. He didn’t know if she was a true klepto or if she was just a professional thief, regardless, he didn’t mind all that much. She did fail to steal anything after all.
“You have pretty eyes.” He lowers his sunglasses to look into her eyes for a moment. “They remind me of my older brother’s after he came back from a Grimm massacre in a small village in Eastern Haven.” Flynt regrets saying that, he didn’t want to pry into this girl’s personal life or wedge up potential painful memories. “And yeah, I think we did alright. Still lost though. Such is life.”
