Yuri didn’t answer. The pain and heartbreak in his face was all anyone needed to know how he felt.

The moment he heard the news, he couldn’t stop crying and had broke many things in his rage. He worked so hard to earn his spot to only have it taken away from him.

It was true he was still allowed to compete under a neutral flag and would most likely still be invited under a carefully selected panel, but what was the point if he wasn’t allowed to represent his country like everyone else? And for what? His country’s bad decisions? Athletes from a completely different sport abusing and accepting drugs? This was bullshit! Why did he have to be punished for it?

Yuri just got up and left. He didn’t need to be reminded.

Thank you all for the kind words and support. I’d answer you all individually, but my mind is spacing the heck out. You know when you get super worked up and then you just? Have that crash? It’s kind of like that.

But. I love my friends. I love this community (flawed as it is), and want desperately to do what I can to make it better. That includes calling out bullshit when I see it. It’s not the most glamorous job, like at all, but I do it because somebody has got to. Sadly, it doesn’t happen enough, like. Never be afraid to stand up for what you know is right, or if you see someone being bullied or abused. Don’t stand for that shit. I understand why some people can’t, but that’s okay, because those same people I know support me in what I do. That’s honestly more than enough.

Now, I’m afraid I’m going to have to smooch every last one of you. Sorry, I don’t make the rules--

true but you can’t deny the absolute fucking delightful mental image that is hiro wearing, like, shorts, an oversized hoodie, and a motherfucking legit gold crown. she just wants to pick up, like, a carton of milk for breakfast and she walks into the convenience store in barely-passing-for-fully-dressed / still-wearing-pjs look but still wearing a goddamn crown.
