Art to see this weekend
I wanted to make sure all of you are aware of two large art events happening around Southern California this weekend, one of which is happening here on campus at CSULB.
GLAMFA began in 2005 as a response to Supersonic, an ever-popular MFA exhibition for UC schools only. Because we were a Cal State school and were not invited to participate, a small group of CSULB MFA’s decided to bring the party to us instead. This is the 12th annual GLAMFA exhibition: a labor of love curated and organized by California State University Long Beach MFA students.
Glamfa happens this Sunday January 29th. CSULB Open Studios are from 4-6pm and the gallery exhibition opening reception event runs from 6-8pm.

Also this weekend is a large group of shows called the FAR BAZAAR organized by Foundations for Art Resources taking place at Cerritos College in the art buildings that are set to be demolished after the event.
