“Many people order coffee here, but I would also recommend our teas.” Echo brewed them herself. She would have proudly served them at any tea party back home. Though it seemed coffee was by far the beverage of choice in this time and age, it only seemed right to honor her own roots in the menu.
“The Jasmine and Earl Gray are freshly brewed with ingredients that I especially selected for their flavor.”

Olivia had been stood near the edge of some of the festivities, arms folded as she studied the celebrations and jubilation of the children of man. There was plenty of music, lights and no shortage of merriment; dancing seemed to be what capitalised most of the festival goers in this area.
The angel of dusk herself stood with a fantastically coloured drink in a seriously oversized glass. It was almost obnoxiously sweet and fruity but despite her best efforts she continued to return to it. Catching a pair of curled horns and some unmistakable pink hair emerge from the crowd she smiled.
“Ah, Narmaya. I hope you are enjoying yourself.”
“Would you like to try this?” She held the fruit monstrosity of a drink out slightly “It is quite simply sublime.”

神楽 ┆ For a moment, a surge of power came through her body, as she’s feeling completely rejuvenated. Her wagasa in hand and for a reason, her goryō, Hakuzosu, has returned to her side. The large white fox snarls at the enemies surrounding them, his roar unleashes a flurry of thunder that shocks them to crisp.
She praises, calling with his true name, “Good job, Kohaku.” Hakuzosu does not speak in return, but he has set his sights somewhere else--where enemies are surrounding the blade-wielding woman she previously knew as Narumeia-san. The monsters are outnumbering her, giving her no room to counter at all. Taking this as a chance to assist, she sets up a stance with her fingers and pointed her wagasa at the nearby monsters.
“Reijutsu: Chō no Mai!”
With the cue of her spell, a flurry of hellish red butterflies are unleashed from the tip of her wagasa. Beautiful in sight, but the effects are still lethal. The aftereffect leaves those monsters immobilized and with some even asleep from that spell. “Narumeia-san, now it’s your chance while they’re down.”
she cuts through the hordes effortlessly, lyst heavy and reassuring in her grip. its red blade parts spectral mist and flesh alike like air; crimson trails behind its edge as it flies through the surroundings and carves a path to the light rising on the horizon.
the throngs of creatures do not end, and so neither does the gore lyst leaves in its wake that breaks into so many glittering pieces of code and swirls back into the sky.
how long she’s been fighting is a mystery. when the chaos hit, when the crowd was split into a million fragments, time melted into the background.
she’s alone now, with only the mindless beasts surrounding her -- and while they may not pose a threat alone, her stamina wanes with each swing. she had luminiera’s strength for a few minutes, but seemingly, as soon as it manifested, it faded once again -- leaving vira weary, sapped.
her sword arm falls to her side -- her breath comes in carefully paced heaves that burn her throat. having become all too familiar with her limits, her only option is to take a break -- however short -- or risk running herself into exhaustion, and with it, certain defeat. despite her grim situation, her mind is clear -- how could it not be? there is nothing but razor-sharp resolve, for in battle all the rest melts away.
even in the cacophony, she can count her breaths. she’s calm; perhaps even comfortable.
she could be, maybe, smiling.
vira raises her gaze to her surroundings, hoping to see shelter, or even a blockade of sorts -- surely the city, in all its disrepair, with stonework flickering in and out of reality could provide a sort of cover -- but when she squints, her focus lands on something entirely different.
butterflies -- glowing, ethereal. they flutter into existence from seemingly nowhere, floating about the numerous enemies; without even fully realizing their origin, she knows what comes next.
the strike that follows is too fast for the eye to see, and the name is on her lips before she can process the sight.
“my, my. fate is a strange mistress -- would you not agree, narmaya?”

☘ : Does your muse believe in luck? How about fate?
Memo does believe in luck, insofar that she believes one can have good (or bad) outcomes based purely on chance. But she doesn’t believe you can affect your luck, like karma sort of. There’s no “do good things now, get good luck later” to her, it’s just random chance.
If you asked her about fate, she’d respond with a hesitant “weeeellllll....... maaaaaybe?” While maybe contradictory to her luck believes, she does believe in a greater cosmic being/Pokemon (Arceus) and thinks if it so desired, it could change one’s path in life to lead them somewhere, and that’d be fate.
But, she doesn’t think it’d be a likely thing to happen, and that most things people call fate are just.. well, luck. To her, what separates luck from fate is the intent of Arceus, in this case. Fate is the specific crafting of a timeline to make something in particular happen, whereas luck is just the random outcomes of random occurrences.
And as we all know, Arceus doesn’t bother with small things like luck, right?
There was something strange about being the helpless one in this situation. While Violet tried to the good older sister and not the problem child, it would seem those titles were gone like the wind at this point. In short, her long, ebony hair was a bird’s nest--tangled, damp and wavy. There wasn’t even any power in the city to help her here. The teenager sighs as she searches the city in hopes to find at least a hairdryer or someone that knew better than her... @glassedwings with her ( mostly ) perfectly styled hair catches Violet’s attention.
“Um... excuse me? Sorry to bother you but... can you help me with this?” Frowning, she points to the mess on her head.
@glassedwings
Well, if it wasn’t that draph girl from the Grandcypher. There were so many on that ship that keeping track of all their names could be difficult, but those that you fought close too were easier to remember.
“Narmaya, is that you?”
“Ah, it is good to see you, I was starting to think I was here alone. Have you seen any of the others? I also appear to have gotten myself a little lost...”
