or maybe it didn’t work out because you’re a demented little gerontophile with a mouth like a cat’s ass. Maybe blaine got tired of hearing your shrill, self aggrandizing lecture about how you felt the two of you were at the very apex of the gay rights movement every time you so much as cooked macaroni and cheese together or farted. Maybe Blaine didn’t want to be with someone who looks like they just removed their top row of dentures every time they smile. Or someone who doesn’t dress like an extra out of one of Andy Dick’s more elaborate wet dreams. Maybe blaine grew weary of dating a breathier more feminine quinn fabray. maybe he finally got weirded out by your strange obsession with old people that causes you to skulk around nursing homes like one of those cats that can smell cancer. Maybe he got tired of watching you drape yourself on every piano you happen to pass to entertain exactly no one with say some song that Judy Garland choked on her tongue in the middle of or some sassy old broadway standard made famous by another dead alcoholic crone. Maybe blaine woke up one day and said you know what? I don’t want to marry a sexless self centered baton twirler, maybe I need someone who knows more than three dance moves, “the finger wag” the “shoulder shimmy” and the one where you pretend to twirl two invisible rainbow colored ribbons attached to your hips. So you know what? maybe that’s why it didn’t work out.
Hi everyone!
A few years ago I wrote a script during a hiatus (I think it was between season 5 and 6) and I recently found it again and kinda liked it. Since there’s no way this will get attention anymore, I figured I’ll just post it here for anyone who wants to “enjoy”. Thank you!
SCENE 1 - INT - Kurt and Blaine's bedroom - Morning
Post intercourse. Kurt is resting his head on Blaine's chest. Both a little weary of their last events. Blaine bites his lip.
KURT
(slightly out of breath) Thanks for that.
BLAINE
I should be the one thanking you sir.
KURT
And why is that?
BLAINE
You very well know why that is (wink)
Blaine presses a sweet kiss onto Kurt's head.
KURT
I should get up
BLAINE
Kurt please, it's Sunday. You still have the entire day to work on your morning routine.
KURT
(sassy) There's a reason it's called a MORNING ROUTINE, Blaine.
BLAINE
Kiss me. (it's an order)
KURT
(giggle) Why, mister bossypants?
BLAINE
Because, mister morning routine, I'm seriously turned on right now...
KURT
I guess that morning routine can wait another hour...
Both start making out. Kurt's phone rings. He takes his phone of the nightstand to check who's calling. RACHEL BERRY aka huge cockblock. Kurt rolls his eyes.
BLAINE
(sighs, while pressing small kisses on Kurt's neck) Please don't pick up.
Kurt mouths a sorry.
KURT
(picks up the phone) Please say it's important
RACHEL
Goodmorning to you too, best friend
KURT
Make it quick Berry...
We see Rachel on the paramount lot.
RACHEL
I just wanted to hear your voice. I really miss you guys. I know it's just been a week and I love my work here, but I hate the feeling that I can't share this with you.
Blaine continues to press kisses on Kurt everywhere he can.
KURT
I know and I miss you too, but we'll see eachother soon, right? I mean, I've GOT to check out if the guy they cast to play Blaine is hot enough! How is the casting going?
RACHEL
The first casting will be in an hour, I hope there'll be some good actors amongst the auditions... I want to do this right, you know.
KURT
I'm sure you will Rachel, you're a star, remember?
BLAINE
Could you leave my fiancé alone pleeeeaseee?
RACHEL
Oh, I see you're busy, sorry to bother Kurt, I love you.
KURT
Any time Rachel, love you too.
Kurt hangs up the phone.
KURT
So where were we?
SCENE 2 - EXT - Paramount lot - DAY
Rachel looks at her phone for a while after the phonecall. Staring at the picture displayed on her background. A picture from one of the Monday evening dinners. She sighs and starts singing.
RACHEL
I'm a big big girl
in a big big world
It's not a big big thing if you leave me
but I do do feel that
I too too will miss you much
miss you much...
She starts walking. Watching decorpieces being placed, people doing their work, it's busy, but no one seems to see her. She stops at a autumnthemed set.
RACHEL
I can see the first leaf falling
It's all yellow and nice
It's all very cold outside
like the way I'm feeling inside
She starts walking around the lot again.
RACHEL
I'm a big big girl
in a big big world
It's not a big big thing if you leave me
but I do do feel that
I too too will miss you much
miss you much...
She goes into a building and walks up stairs. She stops at a window and stares outside for a while. She looks up to the sky and holds her FINN necklace.
RACHEL
Outside it's now raining
and tears are falling from my eyes
Why did it have to happen?
Why did it all have to end?
She wipes the tear rolling from her cheek and goes further up the stairs towards a long hallway.
RACHEL
I'm a big big girl
in a big big world
It's not a big big thing if you leave me
but I do do feel that
I too too will miss you much
miss you much...
She smiles towards people passing her way. She stops in front of a door while singing the last chorus of the song.
RACHEL
I'm a big big girl
in a big big world
It's not a big big thing if you leave me
But I do feel I will
Miss you much...
Miss you much
Rachel takes a deep breath and goes inside.
SCENE 3 - INT - NYADA Auditorium - DAY
A girl is auditioning on stage. Carmen Tibideaux is sitting somewhere in a seat. Artie sits next to her, filming the audition. The girl is somewhere in the middle of her performance.
NYADA GIRL
I'm sitting here
I miss the power
I'd like to go out taking a shower
But there's a heavy cloud inside my head
I feel so tired
Put myself into bed
While nothing ever happens and I wonder
Isolation is not good for me
Isolation I don't want to sit on the lemon-tree
I'm steppin' around in the desert of joy
Baby anyhow I'll get another toy
And everything will happen and you wonder
I wonder how
I wonder why
Yesterday you told me 'bout the blue blue sky
And all that I can see is just another lemon-tree
I'm turning my head up and down
I'm turning turning turning turning turning around
And all that I can see is just a yellow lemon-tree
And I wonder, wonder
I wonder how
I wonder why
Yesterday you told me 'bout the blue blue sky
And all that I can see, and all that I can see, and all that I can see
Is just a yellow lemon-tree
Artie pushes the stop button on his camera.
The girl is waiting on stage to hear some kind of confirmation she did well.
CARMEN
Well thanks for that.. We'll let you know..
The girl walks towards the backstage insecure.
Carmen sighs and turns herself towards Artie who is putting away his video equipement.
CARMEN
What did you think of her?
Artie is shocked that Carmen talks to him.
ARTIE
Uhm.. I'm not sure if I'm the one to judge about that..
CARMEN
I'm asking you: what did you think of her?
ARTIE
Uhm.. Well.. It was special for sure. Refreshing.
CARMEN
Exactly what I thought.. There's just something off with that performance and I can't pin down what...
ARTIE
(to himself) If it wasn't for the job, I would really hate her...
Carmen walks out during that last sentence.
Artie is confused and rolls his wheelchair towards the exit when a girl stands behind him and clears her troath. Artie turns around to see the girl that had just auditioned.
ARTIE
Oh, yes?
NYADA GIRL
Hi, I was just wondering if you know what she thought of my performance. I've been working up to this moment since forever and this was my only chance of making my dreams come true. I'm so stupid. I changed my song last-minute. That's stupid, right? Oh god, I just shattered my lifegoal. I guess NYU is pretty good as well? What do you think? Oh, I'm so sorry, I'm rambling. I always ramble when I get nervous...
ARTIE
(giggle) You remind me of one of my friends actually.
NYADA GIRL
Oh is that so? Well, I sure hope that's a good sign.
ARTIE
She choked on her first NYADA audition. She was heartbroken. She lost all her courage to go through with any of her dreams, but eventually she did and now she's on Broadway playing the lead in 'Funny Girl'.. Well, she isn't anymore actually, but I think you get my point... Anything can happen.
Artie smiles to the girl. There's something about her and he doesn't know what. He loves talking to her although she can be a blabbermouth. He watches the girl's face brighten.
NYADA GIRL
OH...MY...GOD.. You are friends with Rachel Berry? THE Rachel Berry?
ARTIE
Yes and believe me she is far worse of a diva in person (laughter)
NYADA GIRL
Well, I bet she went through with her dreams because she was surrounded by amazing friends like you. Thanks for talking to me, I was just so nervous. I still am actually.
ARTIE
Any time..
Artie turns around and starts rolling off again. The girl takes a few steps forward.
NYADA GIRL
Uhm.. Do you think we could hang out some time? I mean.. You don't have to if you want to, I would totally understand if you didn't want to..
Artie turns around again, facing the rambling girl
ARTIE
I'd love that! Give me your phone, I'll give you my number.
The girl takes out her phone and Artie put in his number. He rolls out of the auditorium now. The girl stares at him while he goes. Hearteyes.
NYADA GIRL
(soft voice) It was nice to meet you Artie Abrams....
SCENE 4 - EXT - Touristic places in NY - DAY
Kurt and Blaine are visiting all the touristic places in NY. The american museum of natural history, empire state building, Statue of liberty, Grand Central terminal, etc. They are singing a duet.
Both are seated next to each other on the staten Island Ferry.
KURT
We're a thousand miles from comfort, we have traveled land and sea
But as long as you are with me, there's no place I'd rather be
Kurt takes Blaines hand and moves toward the end of the boat, grabs the railing and watches the sea.
KURT
I would wait forever, exalted in the scene
As long as I am with you, my heart continues to beat
Kurt and Blaine get off the ferry onto Staten Island.
BLAINE
With every step we take, Kyoto to The Bay
Strolling so casually
We're different and the same, gave you another name
Switch up the batteries
Both are apart from each other now, each at one side of a small road.
BOTH
If you gave me a chance I would take it
It's a shot in the dark but I'll make it
Know with all of your heart, you can't shame me
When I am with you, there's no place I'd rather be
N-n-n-no, no, no, no place I'd rather be
The boys are playing around a little while visiting the Statue of liberty.
BLAINE
We staked out on a mission to find our inner peace
Make it everlasting so nothing's incomplete
It's easy being with you, sacred simplicity
As long as we're together, there's no place I'd rather be
At this point, the couple is walking in Grand Central terminal. Checking out the invorement, enjoying each other's company. Looking towards the board that gives away the places trains are going.
KURT
With every step we take, Kyoto to The Bay
Strolling so casually
We're different and the same, gave you another name
Switch up the batteries
They are now at the American museum of Natural History.
BOTH
If you gave me a chance I would take it
It's a shot in the dark but I'll make it
Know with all of your heart, you can't shame me
When I am with you, there's no place I'd rather be
N-n-n-no, no, no, no place I'd rather be
They meet eachother. Kurt grabs Blaine's hands. They are facing eachother.
KURT
When I am with you, there's no place I'd rather be
The two of them are walking in Central Park. Pointing towards some stuff. Enjoying the nature and the weather.
BLAINE
Hmmmmmmmmmm, hoooooooooo
Be (x9)
KURT
Yeah-e-yeah-e-yeah-e-yeah-e-yeah, yeah, yeah
BOTH
If you gave me a chance I would take it
It's a shot in the dark but I'll make it
Know with all of your heart, you can't shame me
When I am with you, there's no place I'd rather be
N-n-n-no, no, no, no place I'd rather be
When I am with you, there's no place I'd rather be
They end up on a bench, enjoying the view.
SCENE 5 - EXT - Central Park - DAY (CONT'D)
Kurt and Blaine watch the people walking by. Some in a hurry, some not. They are silently judging some of them.
BLAINE
I'm going to get some ice cream, want some?
KURT
No thank you (smile)
Blaine presses a small kiss on Kurt's cheek and leaves.
A guy with a Golden Retriever passes by and catches Kurt's eye. He looks exactly like Blaine. Kurt is confused and watches how the dog throws up on the guy. He can barely hold his giggle.
BLAINE LOOK-A-LIKE
Oh, Bradshaw, no!
The guy grabs his phone and start texting before whiping the mess of his clothes and walking away. Kurt is still giggling when Blaine is back.
BLAINE
What are you smiling at?
KURT
(still a bit in laughter) Oh nothing, it was just a dog throwing up on a guy... The guy looked weirdly like you by the way.
BLAINE
I bet I am hotter
KURT
You are. Now eat your ice cream before it melts, hotty!
SCENE 6 - INT - Shopping Mall - DAY
Both Brittany and Mercedes come off stage tired along with all the dancers.
MERCEDES
Amazing job you guys! Thank you! Now go and get yourself some alone time! See y’all tomorrow at 8am sharp!
Mercedes gets her phone out of her pocket and goes straight to Sam’s facebook account.
Let me formally apologize to indigo-night-wisp, as what was deleted from the Glee finale (the full script has been released!) is much better than what we ended up seeing—actual [deleted] *detailed scenes* of closure among characters from the early years (not just short throw-away segments!). Who could've imagined that?
I can't explain how I got these and I only had a minute alone with the script but I copied the last 3 pages of what looks like a current draft of the Glee finale. I'm putting this on tumblr in case I can get more. These are pics of my copies so sorry about the quality.
I don't really watch but I know a lot of people might want to see this. I tagged this Glee Spoilers so I hope it doesn't spoil anyone who doesn't want to know!!
When organising my iTunes library today i stumbled across a little note in the glee wiki page of 4x12 Naked. Theres a list about deleted scenes, eg Kurt and Rachel playing the game of life and more blam scenes.. Does anybody know about this? Do we have a script or did the writers confirm this somewhere?
