Malaysian launch of the Glenmorangie Spios, the 9th Private Edition. 46% ABV, 100% matured in ex-rye whiskey casks. Thanks to the rye influence, definitely spicier than the Glenmorangie Original, which is 100% bourbon casks. You get the spicy notes on the nose and the entry palate, but the signature light floral fruitiness of the Glenmorangie spirit comes through more on the palate, before the spice kicks in again on the finish.
