It's not that Rain didn't mind the rambling, actually find it kind of cure how excited Frost was getting over the new house. It was just the fact she kept going and wasn't making any sense after the third topic change. Plus the ale he had drunk was starting to get to him, which influenced his next move. He was standing in front of Frost with one hand on her hip listening to her ramble the next thing he had his lips to hers in a quick kiss. "It's fine...just slow down before you hurt yourself." He chuckled, leaning his forehead against hers.

Go to hell. Enough of Cyrax screams with consciousness to think that thought over and over again. Each time he gazes upon Frost, each time he looks down and remembers what has become of him, he can only think the same thing over and over again: go to hell.

"Running diagnostic." The vocal processor he never asked for operates without his permission. His mechanical chassis moves without his consent, inspecting damage to the lab. It's like living life from the perspective of a camera, only the camera can feel like the way you can fell.

Kitana's response was immediate, the Edenian turning her head to regard the cryomancer with open curiosity. To her, the question had come out of nowhere, but Frost's tone made it clear that it was anything but. A measured breath was taken before the Edenian began her approach, strides smooth and sure. There was no hesitation to be found--if anything? The princess was doing her level best to convey that there was only trust to be found.

"You've given me reason for respect what you are capable of, certainly. But fear?"

A shake of her head.

"Now, why did you ask me that? Is something amiss?"

"This is going to sound crazy, I get that...but I was wondering if you would be cool with being in a TV show I had an idea about. That or a commercial." He has ideas, he had so many thoughts he wanted to get onto the big screen; the only issue is for now they were just ideas on paper. "Listen, I know we don't exactly know one another that well and I get that. And you got your whole alliance to the Lin Kuei, but this could be something big. I'm just saying."

━━━‧͙⁺˚*･༓☾  Kuai Liang had always wondered where he had gone wrong with frost, why in the end someone who in a sense he considered a daughter in one way or another had undoubtedly betrayed him in the end. It was a thought even now as he snuck passed the guards, entering into something unknown to him- to those alongside him. Yet, the Lin Kuei grandmaster knew that this attachment, this thought was no longer valid for the woman, the other cryomancer was long gone.

Sub-Zero had hoped for any reason that he wouldn't find the woman here, for any reason there intel was wrong and Frost was not behind all this.. he couldn't even think of that now, refused to let it cloud his judgment, for if it was her than she must be stopped at all costs- no matter what.

Of course his intel wasn't wrong.

Frost, however, seemed to be driven by the same hunger that was also consuming him, a want for more, the desire to leave her mark on the world. Without a doubt, she could become useful one day.

Of all their new initiates, Frost seemed the most promising. It was her cryomancy that made her stand out ⸺ that, and her ambition. She reminded Bi-Han a lot of his younger self, so eager to prove herself, yet always cast aside and never taken seriously. It was why he was willing to take her in as his apprentice, a decision he hoped he would not end up regretting.

               ❥  ─ A long yet gentle sigh leaves the woman's rose tinted lips, brow cocking up as those warm brown hues finally fell upon the woman who stood merely a few steps away from her. Not must had been said, it seemed as if Akari was at loss for words.. for anything really. However, as that oh so almost hard to see smile formed along the woman's features the young herbalist finally found something to say- hopefully.
