Ten years ago so I almost didn’t post them but this was the extraordinary morning when the countryside was coated in frozen fog like hoarfrost. It was like walking through a fairyland right in the same places I’d seen hundreds or thousands of times. Ethereally beautiful as the sun came up and painted the ridge rose pink and geese flew in a line in front of it while wild turkeys were barely visible on a distant hill. I had a lousy camera but it captured a little of the wonder.
