3/14/2026 - Glidlee, Rapi, and Skerdi
And here we have.. more Nexomon!
For the story request Glidlee please.
Glidlee wanted to fly away. Away from the war. Away from the violence. The tyrants. The drakes. All of it.
It wanted to live on the breeze wild and free. Away from humans and Nexomon alike. The winds blew it from Palmaya all the way to the frosty region of The Frozen Tundra.
The winds here though were sharp and bitter, much different than the warm breezes that Glidlee was use to. It could feel the cold hatred of Nivalis in the air and as it tried to fight against the howling winds, it found itself more and more lost than it realized.
A rough gust sent the poor Glidlee careening into the snow and it curled up, holding its tail. Instead of the winds lifting it off the grounds as it had before, it pushed the poor creature, keeping them down in the snow.
It felt instead growing numb, then sleepy as it passed out in the unforgiving snowbanks.
Who knows how long it had been. The poor kite cat was sure it had long since slipped past the land of the living when it saw a beautiful and warm light.
"Cmon... wake up now..." a soft voice came and it slowly felt the hand of a human petting it.
It would've hopped up and backed off, but it was far too weak. Instead it opened its eyes to find someone kneeling next to it, and a large Imburion at their side keeping them both warm.
It sighed in relief when the human stopped touching it and stepped away.
"Hungry?" They asked, and as if on cue its tummy rumbled loudly.
The human chuckled and brought over a bowl of something warm. From the looks of it, it was soup, and they were in a small house. Likely a shack.
There was a draft that came in from somewhere in the room, and Glidlee shivered.
"Cold?" The human picked it up, and it flinched just slightly. But the human was kind and gentle as they leaned back on the large Imburion. They began feeding Glidlee and soon the cat kite was eating excitedly to sate its hunger.
This human was good, it decided. And this nexomon. It wouldn't mind staying. Not if it were as nice as this.
