Adoptable Concept Species 01 & 02: Skellixi and the Glitch Beasts
These two warring factions are going to be up for sale tomorrow!
These are going to be the two first of the many concept species to come. Concept Species means there is always a bit of lore behind the concept but if you'll be adopting one, you are free to completely ignore it and use the creature for whatever you want. However all these will function as closed species, in the regard that I would like you to get one from me as I need grocery money *shakes fist at the sky* XD

Skellixi and the Glitch Beasts Lore:
Skellixi (singular: Skellix) live in a 2D black and white dimension. They are the guardians of the old fashioned media - ink, paper, black and white print but also xerox machines. They are not opposed to colors (though they do have a preference for the grayscale) and love to inspire 2D artists from different dimensions. Each Skellix has a letter "X" somewhere on their bodies. They take great pride in that feature.
They stay away from the digital 3D modern world and guard their frontiers from the glitch beasts - strange warped creatures that lurk in the no-man's land between the 2D and the 3D dimension kidnapping Skellixi that venture too far out or travel too close to the frontier.
The glitch beasts are bizarre neon-glitch abominations that are 2D and 3D at once, and thus very hard to focus your vision on. On top of that they move in erratic disjointed ways (teleporting, sometimes only partially, and then coming back together), spit and bleed glitches, stray pixels and static noise and create weird dimensional rifts making the 3D world leak through. Often they are riddled with old TV antennae. The beasts take on all kinds of forms. They are sometimes even humanoid or seen partially imitating the form of a Skellix, which Skellixi think is to lull their vigilance and make them feel safe roaming the borders of their land...
Skellixi take pride in slaying these abominable glitch beasts and monsters whenever they come too close to their lands (often) but sometimes may become glitched themselves. Glitched state can be cured, however in some cases it proves lethal and causes disintegration of a Skellix.

These are not affiliated with my The Fading Realms multiverse, but I don't mind TFR creatures (or any other creatures) interacting with them. Also, I will be using the concept species I make for TFR sometimes - as anomaly dimensions encountered while traveling (when the Journeys Across Dimensions are launched one day... in the somewhat distant future XD)
