People that compare Glitch to Disney, Hasbro and other corporations are weird af, I even saw people saying that Glitch became the new Disney and that they couldn't wait for its fall down just because they didn't have variety in female designs in ONLY ONE of their series.
"Oh but they are greedy!!!" Why? Is it about the merch? I'm sorry for breaking your bubble, but animation costs as much effort as money, they need to do merch to get money for their series, it's not that hard to understand.
"But they abandon the series to a single episode." The animation takes time, and MD also had to wait a lot for a second episode and I don't remember them crying about it (And we're talking about the same fandom that keeps begging for a second season even when they were already told there won't be one) They said they would continue with TGD once TADC was over. About KOG, Danna is just taking her time. Again, it's not that hard to understand
"But they're not indie anymore!" Although they are no longer small, they are still indie because they are independent.
"But the contract with Netflix!" Glitch themselves said that Netflix would not influence in the series creative vision. This argument would make sense if Netflix had full or merely partial control of TADC and/or Glitch, but that is not the case.
Also, off topic, am I the only one who found it odd how people ignored Latin America when they talked about the theatrical release? It was always "It's only in the US, Canada and Japan!" (Or they only mentioned US) but rarely mentioned Latam. (Something funny considering that the leak happened in Brazil, that is, a country in Latin America)
Finally, I also saw people saying Ross made Kit Latina just to sexualize her more... Huh? As a Latino, I find more weird that your first thought when you see a Latino character is that it's made for FanService/Goonbait. 👀
