Anyone could be holding their faces.
The outfits come from some posts I just made here on my main. None of the outfits are canon; I just wanted to dress them all in cute clothes.
Glitchy ain't too happy to be grabbed. Swag is... fine with it, I guess. And Filament has no idea why its face is being held like this.
I forgot Filament's freckles. Sorry. Will most definitely happen again. They're a very new, very minor detail.

Super cute doodle of Filament and dolls he doesn’t actually have. It's for his new reference sheet!
It wanted to hug its friends without crossing any possible boundaries c:
First page is almost completely sketched out (going to add background characters at some point. Maybe just putting other ocs in the background that I don’t get to draw a lot) and is just about ready for a second sketch. Those chairs… I need to use references next time and not just “a chair has four legs and the part that gets sat on”. The chair is the perfect size for Glitchy, and Filament’s supposed to look small here, the chairs just feel… long and short at the same time.
Second page is also almost done with its sketch, I just don’t want to draw a hand (the panel next to the sketched one includes a hand). I think that’s part of the reason why Filament only has one hand: so I don’t have to draw two. But we get to see his cute bracelet, so I’m not that upset that I get to draw his hand.
The actual layout of the comic panels is different than the traditional sketch because I have more space and I’m not worried about getting to the bottom and having no more room to sketch out the rest of what I want to happen.
I know the way the first part of the prologue versus the way the second part (the one I’m doing right now) is done is a big, weird jump. I honestly forgot about paneling the first time and just went straight into drawing pages, which I didn’t love a whole lot because I used the entire canvas instead of small parts like here.
And once I remembered that panels exist, it was too late and I didn’t want to change it. So the first set of pages will always be a little weird compared to the ones after it, but I think it adds charm.
Onto some other news, I’m thinking of redoing Filament’s character sheet (been wanting to redo it for months) since the first one doesn’t include his bag directly into his design. It’s just off in the corner since I forgot about it when sketching his sheet traditionally, and then forget to draw it on him digitally. There are also other things I’d like to add to his sheet that I didn’t do before for unknown reasons. And maybe I won’t add a novel of random information in the new sheet…
But, yeah. Because his bag is just off in the corner, I often forget he even has it since I stare more at him than the stuff around him on his sheet. I also choose to ignore the big lore spoilers I included at the bottom of the page for some reason. So I’m going to have him wear it in his new sheet and maybe actually draw what’s inside his bag instead of leaving it to the imagination. And maybe a few extra outfit doodles, including some we’ve already seen (maybe even one with a matching pair of socks 👀).
