“Teary” Teal Glitter Eyes

I love glitter but I hate cleaning it off. I don’t like how much time it takes to spread and pack on, and how much of a mess you make trying to clean it off. Until I tried Lit Cosmetic’s Clearly Liquid Glitter Base and the trick of dipping your brush in the adhesive, then into glitter, before spreading it on.

You need a liquid base that is very light and spreadable but still has a silicone-y slippery thickness so it gives you time to spread and smooth the glitter out before setting. This thing makes glitters spread on like liquid shadows, sets and stays all day, doesn’t feel thick and uncomfortable like using glitter gels and eyelash adhesive will, PLUS - it doesn’t contain any alcohol like most liquid adhesives do.

And at the end of the day, I just apply foaming wash, massage gently, and rinse everything off. Minimal irritation, and less chance of glitter getting in the eyes.

Urban Decay Blackout (matte black) shadow in socket

Lit Cosmetics Peacock in Size 3 (bright turquoise) on inner 2/3 of lids

Lit Cosmetics Hulk Size 3 (emerald green) glitter on outer 1/3 of lids

Lit Cosmetics Spark Size 3 (clear with copper gold gleam) as “tears”

Revlon Colorstay Liquid Liner in black

Urban Decay Waterline pencil in Legend

Ardell false lashes in Demi

Feel free to skip the tears if you want a slightly less dramatic look.

Adhesive Glitter

So apparently you can buy this at walmart and home improvement stores for less than $4. This is so useful for almost all glitter crafts. I suggest buying one of these to have around because you never know when you will need some glitter.
