21. What’s a common writing tip that you mostly ignore?

Lots of people are all “less adverbs, less adjectives!” but I usually ignore that. I love me some ad-stuff. But I do try and be mindful of how I use it - like, is it important to note that they smiled sadly? Or to say it was a hot cup? Other than that, I don’t restrict myself on it.

I appreciate it, but it’s not that I can’t rectify the situation, I’m just so mad that I forgot in the first place. Makes me worry about what other things I might have neglected, what things I will neglect in the future.

🍏 - Would you eat a Devil Fruit if you had the chance to?

If I were in the One Piece universe, then I’d say it would depend on the power. Something cool like lightning? Absolutely. Something useless like turning into a train (that’s an actual devil fruit, look it up folks)? Pass.

But if it were this universe, living here in a landlocked state where I rarely swim at all? Yeah sure, why not. I’d still have a preference for something badass.

43. A kiss pressed to the top of the head. Doing this for Kitty and Ace bc I’m Love Them

Just another long day in a string of long days. Everyone had told them - had warned them - that the New World wasn’t for the weak or the faint of heart, that it was hell, that it would kill them. And it wasn’t that the Spade Pirates had disbelieved the rumors, or hadn’t prepared for it, but the second half of the Grand Line really was that insane. Even Ace, as energetic and adventure-thirsty as he could be, was worn out.

Currently, the captain was fast asleep, lying where he’d passed out atop her. Kitty had withdrawn to below decks for the evening and settled on a couch to read, and Ace had felt like physical affection, so she’d let him lay on her. She wasn’t surprised when he’d fallen asleep, but each time by the dead-weighting. It wasn’t like he was that big of a guy, only a few inches taller than her and a little thicker built, but god he was heavy. She shot him a half annoyed, half endeared glance; he just kept snoring from where his face nestled into the crook of her neck. Used to be, this kind of thing would send her into a blushing, stuttery mess, but that was before Kitty had learned just how affectionate Ace is. He’d sleep on anybody who sat still for long enough.

Still, it was nice, even if it wasn’t necessarily special to her. Plus, he was really warm, keeping her nice and comfortable in the chill air. Kitty reached over and pressed a quick kiss to the top of his head. She’d let him sleep there...for now.

32. Do they get stressed out easily?

I’d say Kitty stresses about a 6 or 7 on a scale of 1-10. If things aren’t serious, she acts more stressed than she really is in the name of keeping the mood light. But when things are serious, she’s absolutely capable of buckling down and filing things away to get shit taken care of. It’s part of why Ace made her his vice captain on the Spadille, and his second-in-command of his division on the Moby Dick later on.

70. What do you, the creator of the OC, like most about them?

If we’re talking about looks, it’s that she has cotton candy pink that’s got natural beachy waves I could never hope to have without effort. When it comes to Kitty’s personality, though, is that she really has no problem speaking up and standing up for herself, and expecting others to respect her boundaries (and when they don’t, she MAKES them respect them). Plus, she has LIGHTNING POWERS and has a healthy, loving, intimate relationship with someone she’s VERY attracted to. She’s everything I want to be, pink hair included.

88. Do they like to be tickled?

If you’re one of the maybe three or four people on the planet she’s that comfortable around, then it’s fine within certain limits. If you’re literally anybody else, you can expect a shock of varying strength until you get the hint to leave her alone.
