Wow.

So uh. Hey.

The last time I posted here was on Dec 24th, 2017.

College is long over, and I’m in a design job I really like that keeps me busy.

I genuinely don’t know if anyone from here remembers or cares that I’ve returned, but I kinda wanted to browse and enjoy tumblr again, but perhaps at a more leisurely pace than before. Since I left oh so long ago my social media energy has been channeled elsewhere which I don’t care to detail here.

I spent countless hours on this account in college and a little afterwards. Some regrets but not too many I guess. It kinda hurts cus’ I did have lots of good times here, I even feel nostalgia for that time period even though I was honestly a wreck in college. I ain’t gonna force anyone to cross over, but only if you’re interested, I’ll be restarting anew at anew @  hollowcarapace.tumblr.com/

is new york pizza overrated?

This is going to be like, sacrilege or something, but I am so neutral to slightly-negative-leaning about pizza in general.Usually because it’s what I stuff in my miserable face when I have five minutes to eat out on the street before going to some job or something so I DO NOT ENJOY IT THAT MUCH.

PIZZA IS OVERRATED. That said, I prefer pizza in ny to pizza from other places.

I’ve been watching this old tv show about the roman emperor’s family drama called “I, Claudius” and I couldn’t help but notice the many similarities between Emperor Augustus’ mother Livia and Cersei Lannister from A Song of Ice and Fire. Two ice-hearted, evil, manipulative queen mothers using status, intimidation, sexuality and blackmail to get what they politically want. Though I think Livia uses more variety of emotions than Cersei’s constant simmering anger. Also I think Cersei has a more direct hand in the bloodshed that ensues to make sure people know it was her doing, while Livia always stays in the shadows, making deaths and events always appear to be someone elses doing.
