When your Lvl. 4 Hedlok is Twintelle
Here are all of Mechanica’s alternate outfit colors because Mechanica is the best ⊟
Changing your fighter's outfit color is easy -- just select a character, then click/press the left thumbstick, tilt it up/down/left/right, and hit A. Thanks to Tony for the tip! If you want to see the outfit variations for other characters who are not as great as Mechanica, you can check them out here.
Arms releases for the Switch on June 16. Listen to my Shin Kobushi conspiracy theory in the latest TinyCast while you wait for the release!
PREORDER Arms (15% off!), Splatoon 2
Loving all the pink and blue alt colour options.
////I finally got around to playing the ARMS Global Testpunch again and I would like to jot down the various ramblings I think of while playing
//HERES WHAT IVE SEEN FROM PLAYING ONLINE
1) Nobody loves Spring Man. His shockwave is pretty cool and I like his perma-charge at low health but nobody else does apparently
2) The people I’ve encountered in the Testpunch that play Ribbon Girl NEVER use the midair jumps they have available or the air drop. On a related note, the Slapamander never gets used even though it can easily blindside reckless opponents
3) I have never seen a Ninjara player take advantage of his ninja vanish or even air dodge. That’s all
4) Poor Master Mummy. Barely anyone plays him and the ones I’ve encountered always do this: Two Megaton ARMS, and grab the whole match. I’m sorry to say, but this strategy doesn’t work. Megatons can be easily avoided with a careful dash and grabs can be cancelled with a single punch from any ARM. Also, I’ve never seen a Master Mummy player guard. Even though it leaves you open to grabs, no matter how far away they are, they never take advantage of his guard heal
5) Mechannica doesn’t get played nearly enough. She has the bulk of Master Mummy and mobility with her hover, but that never happens. On a semi-related note, two Revolvers are terrifying. If they can charge them up and stun you just once, if you don’t escape you’ll die faster than my hopes and dreams
6) Min Min is my favorite character to fight as at the moment. I love how her left arm can turn into a flipping dragon and power up the ARM she has, but nobody ever does that. I’ve encounter a ton of Min Min players today, but none of them charge up her left arm except for maybe one person I saw at the very end. Also it irks me that only the Dragon ARM gets used there even though her left arm can power up any ARM. I equipped a Megawatt on there one match and it was devastating
7) How come nobody uses Helix? He’s super interesting to fight as since he can squash and stretch himself at will and his Blorb ARM can be extremely useful if used right, but I’ve only seen like 2 people play him and neither even tried to use their malleability to their advantage
8) Twintelle is a great fighter, but nobody uses her air charge even though it can slow down enemy punches and you know. Charge her ARMS
//And that concludes my thoughts on the Global Testfire (or more specifically me whining that nobody uses their fighter to their fullest potential)
I saw the trailer. I got curious. I heard how it worked. I got intrigued. I saw the Direct. I got hooked. I played the ARMS Global Testpunch. I pre-ordered! ARMS looks and plays absolutely fantastic! Without a doubt one of my most hyped games on the Switch! This fan art was originally made for the fan art contest hosted by NoA, but I didn't make the deadline. So I decided to keep working on it in order to fine-tune everything. Now it's done and I'm very proud with how it came out. If you have a Switch or planning on getting one. Keep your eyes out for ARMS!
