I had a very enjoyable day at #GlobalBirdFair in #Rutland. Great to attend brilliant talks from and chat to Heatherlea, Harry from Save The House Sparrow, chat to David Lindo and other great people, see other great talks and see a Sparrowhawk being ringed at the ringing demo! A lovely day. Also had a brief look at Lyndon Nature Reserve tonight where it was brilliant to see Brown Hawker, Purple Hairstreak, Small Tortoiseshells, Gatekeepers, Ringlets, Comma (a few of these making a great big #ButterflyCount), Bullfinch, Great Crested Grebes, Common Tern and Rabbit. https://www.instagram.com/p/CgFhIFcqrEw/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
