Happy Morning from a Snowier than Usual Minnesota North...yes Virginia, that is a drift on my deck I have dug down to chest height for light into the living room to save my poor plant!
Such are the conditions here in the Bold North, we are now looking for places to put all of the snow we’ve received this year! If you’d like some, I am sure quite a few municipalities would love to send truck fulls to you!
One snowfall not too many weeks back had to venture forth in my SUV to go get a co-worker who was stuck in, not plowed out and lived in a valley, UGH, that was a tricky five-minute slow grind up the hill, but we got to work! (Determination or insanity, you decide.)
Working on my stuff, also had a bake happen, so there is that. Fixed my sewing machine, which had stopped working mid-quilt project I was trying to finish up for xmas...a decade late...but done! Don’t worry, my book won’t be THAT late, I was writing too much to finish and moved and yeah, life, quilts, you know...
Hoping to do a workshop later this month with a client, so that could be fun, we will see how it all shakes out in the next few weeks!
Calling Spring, or at least 30-40 degrees Farenheit! Come on, I have a drift as high as the roof to melt to save my plant! (Seriously, other side of the photo I did not shoot.)
