Panoramic Images - Extended (Globe Effect)
After creating our Panoramic images we extended the idea and evolved our pieces into globes. The "globe effect",is an effect that is created through distorting an image on software or through a camera lens. When the effect is added, the once standard panoramic image adapts into a curved "ball" like object in the center of the photo. Here are a couple of examples:
I was really attracted to this specific image because of the general feel I got on first glance. The warm colours of some aspects of the image in comparison to the ice white snow really fits together. I also like how the globe isn't vastly distorted to create the effect.
