I can't find the clip in the gallery but it's not explicitly said that the Gloink Queen adopted her. It's practically up to interpretation.

Ragatha is a thirty year old woman and ragdoll and the Gloink Queen is a grown ass SAPIENT worm slug thing. I personally didn't take it as Ragatha being adopted but she's actually just a lesbian monsterfucker and hit on her.
