what's a gloop
Good question! I originally added it to my vocabulary seeing this video back around 2020ish. Since then its mutated in my brain and whereas before I would associate gloop-cabulary (googa, gungle, zoingle, badingleton, ect) with cats it broadened to dogs and then quite literally any animal or person.
Gloop posting is less about an animal, or a particular action done by them - but a general *feeling*, a vibe that juxtaposes 20s humor cyncism and irony with absurdist humor and whimsy. An image of a fish eye lensed cat with nonsensical words written below it looks so foolish it rebounds and just makes your day.
So anyway if I see anything I find that strikes a balance of cute and nonsensical, its probably gonna be tagged with #gloop posting. Mostly fluffy pets!
