Context this is all set in modern times so yeah

Marcy: Shes be extremely sentimental about it and announce to everyone that shes gonna die in a day and make a whole will with full legal processes and forget to have fun and get caught up in the cleaning up process.

Yara: Party and do crazy shit for her last day. I mean taking multiple substances at once.

Viktor: he’s be super chill abt it and not tell anyone he’s gonna die. he would write a short will though

Charlotte: she’d get so overwhelmed abt the thought of dying she would spend her last day insanely paniced and get nothing done

Hi dear! You reblogged my post about Diomedes' reception and mentioned Ajax the great so I'm gonna do a shameless plug, I ADORE him. My design of him is literally my pfp. And yes I ABSOLUTELY AGREE WITH YOU!! Telamonian Ajax has a very complex character arc, and Sophocles' play on his death was SO entertaining to read! Ajax and Diomedes are both the TRUE Aristos Achaion in my heart. Incredibly competent warriors who genuinely care for their comrades. Ajax my sweetheart! 😭🩷

i love how his character changes over time (cause of death) being like pride/recognition to insanity and ther latter is much more popular so ppl make fun of him a lot :( i also cried sm for teucer and tecmesa in Ajax. He’s also such an enjoyable character in the iliad. im def a diomedes girlie but im gonna research ajax soon

where do you usually get your literature for greek myths? there are so many things i haven't read (and okay-- i'll try to take it slow this time 🤣), but the books are a little hard to come by. if you read online, do you have good sources? somewhere compiled i'd prefer, bit if i had to pull up 60 different tabs, then sure lol

if i'm confusing you where to stary, maybe you can recommend some of your favorite myths : 3

I usually use perseus.tufts!! It has a bunch of translated texts and its free

im just reading a bunch of plays rn. I recommend the oresteia if you havent yet (its when agamemnon returns from troy). its a whole nother experience to read it so :3

also ajax but sophocles. its how ajax the greater died. it makes me sad but its great

paunasias’ descriptions of greece is also a great resource for researching (not for reading tbh but a great source nontheless)

Theoi.com is also great! it doesnt use a card function (which perseus uses) but its basically the same but it also has wiki pages!!
