I wrote this little fic because I felt we needed a kiss in the finale. Just a quick little goodbye, but something that more than just a hug (which was amazing, by the way), but that showed the depth of the love these characters have for each other. We deserved that.

Can we stop for just one second to think about how Loki actually said these words?

"I don't want a throne..."

There's so much character growth in this line. His glorius purpose has always been about the throne but will it truly make him happy? No.

"I.. I just want you to be okay."

By saying this line, it shows that he doesn't care about the throne anymore and only cares about Sylvie. His glorius purpose shifted from the throne he has always wanted to Sylvie, someone who can truly make him happy and that's beautiful 😭💚.

I'm sure that we have Season 2 to show a truly happy Loki in the end!
