I don't even ship Lokius romantically, I just ship them REALLY hard as friends

Because it's what Loki desperately needs, a friend, a single someone who actually liked being with him without secretly hating him or distrusting him (too much)

Even back in Asgard before the events of Thor 1, he didn't really have any friends. He had Thor, and the people who were technically Thor's friends who sorta just tolerated him coming along (and not trusting him for a second)

And ever since that, the Sacred Timeline Loki has gotten tossed around without anyone ever truly in his corner, until he dies

TVA Loki at least got out of there before any of that, but bro is still the same Loki we knew from Thor 1, he still grew up like that and went through that (as well as whatever happened in the time between Thor 1 and Avengers 1)
