Phil looks up from a redstone circle as Techno re-enters the room. “Are we sure this is a good idea?”
Techno waves a hand. “It’ll be fine. Worked out fine last month. You go.”
“Right.” Phil takes a deep breath and sits down in the centre of the circle, closing his eyes. His face transfigures as he greets someone without sound, reaching out a hand, and then green life-force explodes into the room.
Someone else opens Phil’s eyes. Kristin grins up at Techno. “Hey there. Been a while!”
Techno grins back as Kristin pushes herself to her feet, wobbling under the weight of Phil’s wings. He glances at the kitchen. “Alright, I got a bottle of wine and there’s a baby, what are we lookin’ at first?” __
