Yup. Another Baby and Glucksey Co-dependent day in Hollywood! Yay! The world of Public Domain is a weird place to navigate. However, there’s a lot of “new-old” stuff to play with as things age out, which allows for some fun, creative moments - other than just “B-grade slasher movies. The sky’s the limit! (Please note: some of these characters are technically still under copyright in the E. U. and elsewhere - due to the different copyright law structure around the world, so, “Fair-Use for Satire” is cited for their specific use in this strip.)

(RECORD STORE DAY 4/20/24) It's been ten long years since Jennifer Nelson's landmark "David versus Goliath" lawsuit (Good Morning To You Productions vs. Warner Chappell (2013-2015)) was at its high-point in Federal Court.

Along with her eventual win - and the creation of an Award-Winning Documentary about her journey - her actions not only drew attention to some dirty, little copyright law abuses, but she also managed to raise public awareness of what a single person was capable of accomplishing.

I couldn't resist her story! Her heroic achievement is not only inspirational, but has also become an integral part of world history!

Accomplishments like these need to be recognized, and the only way I know how to do it is to write and perform silly, little cartoon songs - which I did - hence, this record.

(Ahh, the ear-worms of childhood, right?)

Anyway, "Glucksey's Birthday Song," is available on all major streaming platforms, and FOR FREE on YouTube, (keyword - "Glucksey.") BABY AND GLUCKSEY’S BOOK BOINK PODCAST FINALLY AVAILABLE!

After a little tumultuous industry pushback, two episodes from Baby and Glucksey’s book review podcast have squeezed through the gatekeepers at Sony/Orchard and are currently available on most audio streaming platforms (YouTube, Spotify, Apple etc.) abeit we don’t know how long they will stay available.

They have been flagged for removal because Sony/Orchard “doesn’t distribute podcasts.” Even though these are clearly NOT real podcasts, it made no difference to their management.

With all that in mind, somehow, two episodes have managed to “accidentally” fall through the cracks should be available most everywhere right now (S1E4 Wheels On The Bus and S1E6 Potty Time) and two more are still currently on schedule to be released (S1E7 Spiders Savage and S1E8 Rain, Rain, Brain Drain).

Listen to these episodes while you can. Keywords: “Glucksey’s Book-Boink” on YouTube or your favorite streaming platform.

We are trying to find a permanent home for the entire season (in-tact) but in the meantime, please help me support free expression and share the links with your friends.

I know it’s a big ask but I’d like to send a message to the powers that be that

kids aren’t dumb and

new ideas should not be relegated to the trash heap for simply thinking outside of their established boxes.
