Thursday , 20 Oct. This was the adventure of the day a KING SNAKE this time got caught on a glue trap and so I only spent about 10 minutes freeing it. A little bit of olive oil, a whole lotta Q-tips, scissors to cut the excessive remaining glue trap, and gloves. Start at the tail, releasing, dip qtips in olive oil and start coating the skin that is touching the glue. It releases pretty fast. When you get within 3 inches of the head pick the snake up and use the q-tips to slowly release the head, have a firm hold (not too tight) and be ready as it wants to be free.
