Official Hiatus Post

Whelp, it’s official. Duplicity is now on extended hiatus. For those that don’t know, I’m the co-writer of Duplicity and Glumhum is the artist. Glumhum has been under a very heavy school workload, and as a result, he has not been able to work on the comic very much. He also decided to take a break from all social media, so I have had very little contact with him. As you know, we are a team and I can’t continue the comic without him; so until he comes back from hiatus don’t expect much of anything for Duplicity. I’m sorry for this, but there isn’t anything I can do. As you can imagine I don’t like being out of contact with Glumhum for so long, but I’m ok with it because he is doing what he believes he needs to do. I really didn’t want to have to make this post, but under the current circumstances, it was needed to be done. Who knows, maybe Glumhum will contact me within a few hours of posting this. Fingers crossed I guess. Just a side note, please don't spam Glumhum with messages and questions. That would be rude and he obviously can't respond. If you have any further questions or statements or whatever please direct them towards me. That being said I will continue to use my Tumblr page for stuff, so for the few that have followed me just know that I will still provide content of some kind. @glumhum

Glum: After a long hiatus, Xzylo and I will be able to post the comic that we want to continue. Sorry for keeping you guys waiting. Chapter 1 is called 'False Icons'. Speaking of titles, we have decided to change the comic's main title to "Duplicity" since "Before Your Very Eyes" no longer matches the tone and story that we are going for anymore; so instead of it being the main title, it is now the title for the prologue. Thank you for reading this, and we hope to see you next week with more updates. Xzylo: Thank you all so much for reading and following our comic. It means a lot to both of us. Personally, I don't really know what to think about making something that people from all over the world enjoy. Being able to work on such a cool project has been quite an experience so far. I've only been helping glumhum for about 3 months now, and I've enjoyed at least 90% of that time. (Screw anxiety) Moving forward, I plan to start making my own writing content with some that are based on/related to our comic and others that are completely unrelated to the comic. So, if you are interested in any of that, please follow me on Tumblr. I also have a DA, but it really isn't much to look at. Nothing is over there.....yet.... Also, if you have any questions that you would like to ask either of us, don't hesitate, we will be happy to answer them. I hope that glumhum and I will be able to continue to provide quality entertainment and stories in the future.
