wip that probably won't be finished (just running into too many things I'm struggling to render, and I don't want to burn out on this painting) of my deep apiarist from a Heart game.
Melanthes is a drow with the penitent calling, and he gave himself to the bees after being cast out from his home and sent to rectify his mistakes. He'd struggled getting by in the Heart and basically pledged himself to these entities that would give him power in exchange for his service to them, kind of like a warlock pact ahah.
