For the ask, currently really into languages. Thinking about all the languages out there in the world and how I love all of them and how I wish I had 1 million years to learn them. Particularly love the way Hawaiian and Hñähñu sound at the moment.

Ohhh I know exactly what you mean! I'm also learning Hawaiian, although I'm currently focusing more on Spanish. But Hñähñu sounds very fascinating as well! How did you come to choose those languages?

Wait now you got me curious, I know you have mentioned some outfits in HFYM, but does Cas have a "hunting" outfit and a "casual & chillin" outfit? In my mind I want him to wear sweaters and bold thrift mishmash fashion, but not sure how that would fly with the hunting community as it would make him stand out.

Yeah I mean I don’t describe clothes (or much of anything in this fic lmao) but we know Cas does have The Suit And Trench coat combo (but he only wears them if it’s part of a disguise or something), other times he wears jeans and a random t-shirt. He has jackets as well, but I think because he can’t feel cold/heat like a normal human can he doesn’t bury himself in layers like Sam and Dean do. 

Overall Cas does have a sense of practical stuff (dark colored shirts or rough jeans that fit well, good shoes, etc.) but we also know he doesn’t subscribe to the typical gendered notions of, well, most things, so I think if he sees something he likes, or is soft, or is a good price, he’ll just get it. He probably has some cozy sweaters to lounge around in, a turtleneck bc why not, a cardigan (good for pretending to be a high school lit teacher Dean!), sweatpants, yogapants?, silly socks, matching set PJs, and maybe at this point anything Dean likes but is too reluctant or embarrassed to wear himself since they’re about the same size and definitely do trade clothes, on purpose or on accident.

Cas def does stick out in the hunting community. Even if he was wearing a typical hunter’s ‘fit the second he starts talking about Britney Spears it’s over. But hey, Cas doesn’t really care about keeping up appearances anyway.

Some advice for pants from a fellow enby who has spent way too long looking for men's pants that fit. American Eagle has the largest selection of men's pants sizes I have been able to find. If you measure your waist size and leg length grab a pair of flex jeans (they have lots of stretch to account for hip) that match that size. I believe their sizes start at 26"x28" (waistxleg). And the pockets are DEEP and beautiful

i love ae for their pockets, and their sizing charts are glorious (same with bluenotes too i love their jeans) but their clothing is literally so expensive for no reason?? once i was looking at one of their graphic sweaters and it was cropped with no pocket and no hood and it was?? 50$?????? when did fast fashion get this expensive
