Guild Wars 2 GM Fail
I emailed GW2 to change an email that I used to share with my ex when he lived with me. The account HAS ALWAYS been mine, the email was simply shared. The GM seemed to barely actually read my message, and quoted me the TOS, which had nothing to do with my ticket. The worst part, is that he quoted a bit that says sharing is allowed if on same computer, which I did! I never shared the account, only the email. Good going on Customer Service bruh.

Hello *******,
Thank you for contacting Guild Wars 2 Support.
Please be aware that transferring ownership of an account by selling it or giving it away is a violation of the Guild Wars 2 User Agreement. As stated in Section 2.f, "You acknowledge You will not directly or indirectly, to the extent permitted by applicable law:...sell, sub-license, rent, lease, grant a security interest in, borrow, lend, loan, network or sell or engage in any activity that could in any way transfer or provide others access to any Service, Content, Software, or parts thereof..." Accounts that are sold or given away are subject to termination.
Account sharing is prohibited in all areas of the world except the European Union, and in the EU is it permitted only among members of the same household under limited circumstances. We are unable to resolve support issues related to account sharing, and those issues can be numerous and long-lasting. For example, when multiple people know an account's credentials, the account has increased risk of a security breach. If someone using a shared account loses, deletes, trades, or sells an item belonging to another player on the account, we cannot become involved. If someone using a shared account resets the password to disallow access by another person sharing the account, we are not able to step in to solve the problem. And if someone allows another individual – outside the original people sharing the account – to get access to the account, we cannot intervene. Perhaps most importantly, two people are not able to play Guild Wars 2 with one another if they were using a single shared account.
Please consult the version of the Guild Wars User agreement that is appropriate for your location: --European Union: https://www.guildwars2.com/en-gb/legal/guild-wars-2-user-agreement/ --Outside the European Union: https://www.guildwars2.com/en/legal/guild-wars-2-user-agreement/
Please let us know if you have further questions.
