OH ive always wanted to ask, is project arrythmia good? i think ive tried it on and off but i was always very casual with jsab and im not ready for the difficulty jump....
ok I hope I make Dakota proud answering this
Project Arrhythmia is good! you just gotta trust that people have and will make quality levels in the difficulty you want. Most levels I play sit around Moderate and Advanced, and I'd say they are around Hardcore JS&B? worth mentioning its up to the level creator to set the difficulty, so the actual thing could be harder or easier than whats expected..
I'll recommend you a few level collections:
MotionIII's Starter Recommendations and DXL44's Starter Suggestions - both give you a dozen or more levels that gives beginners a good taste of what kinds of levels folks make, MotionIII's having direct linked collections for more levels and storylines that fit around the Basic/Moderate difficulty
Just Shapes and Beats Levels - dozens of JS&B themed levels if you want something more familiar, though they range in difficulty, and alot of the remakes from the original are much harder. remember you're playing PA though.. your dash is based on where youre facing and how long you hold the dash button
Oh, and a creator I'd recommend is DXL44. Her whole deal is making Moderate levels with good gameplay whilst not being too hard.. You should play The Synthwave Trials by them. ignore how she's my girlfriend she's still really good at what she does.
