my favourite part of shipping lucaya is not the fan videos or fanfiction or theories or headcanons or anything is just how unexpected it is; when people thought we were crazy to even ship them before girl meets creativity; when that I WANT MAYA TO BE HAPPY moment just unexpectedly popped up; when we expected lucaya in Texas but didn't expect A FUCKING FACE GRAB ALMOST KISS and completely freaked out for 2847824 days. like honestly every time we have a lucaya moment that i didn't expect, i can't sleep at night bc of how fucking surreal it feels and i love it
aww remember back in the good old days before girl meets creativity aired we all thought it’ll just be a great great episode about arts and then we got these lucaya spoilers and the “i want maya to be happy” and the “blonde beauty” and we all just flipped our shit and freaked out for days about it because it was so unexpected and our ship was becoming canonically romantic and it was just the best thing to ever happen ever
