The Mythical #2 conspiracy?
I'm the kind of person who gags whenever I have to pick up my dog's poop, and the only way I get through those moments is by holding my breath. In my family, I'm a sad exception - my parents both used to work in the medical field, and even my germaphobic brother used to study to become a nurse, and they wouldn't even flinch at a video about feces. I, on the other hand, had some seriously tough time watching Rhett and Link examine the animal poop specimens on today's GMM.
For someone who can watch the goriest of horror films, this segment was something I had to watch through my fingers, and half the time I was crying: "Don't pick that up! You're gonna drop it on the desk!" They didn't drop anything, and I did have quite a few laughs at their reasonings, but the nasty level was high on this one. But what was that thing with human poop in college Link mentioned? 💩
I'm super anxious about eating in public, and one of the factors contributing to my anxiety are the possible eating sounds I make. I think the Eat like a lady segment was both liberating and pretty awesome to watch, because I have become the opposite of these confident girls happily crunching away, and it's about time someone pointed out that everyone is allowed to eat their crunchy food just as sloppily and vocally as they please, regardless of gender. And nobody wants a less crunchy chip anyways. This doesn't remove the problem I have of getting annoyed by my dad's eating sounds, or the fact that all those chip crumbs need to be vacuumed off the floor and that noise is even more irritating to me. But the way you eat is not dependent on gender.
I love all things conspiracy theory, and I love discussing conspiracy theories even when I don't fully support them. Just the other day we talked about the moon landing conspiracy theory in art class, and I think the common consensus was that it had some truth to it. Or not. But I just love watching Rhett talk not-so-convinsingly about the second sun, and Link's reactions are priceless (and I appreciate the subtle nod to all of our ship theories in the beginning 💕). But honestly, the sun wearing sunglasses makes absolutely no sense, unless...So rats must. 😂
I am perplexed by all the mythical conspiracy theories they'd dug out for GMMore. They make some of my own theories sound so much more believable in comparison. For a moment, I thought I had bumped into the Morgan theory somewhere, but the Alex said he made it up, and that explained why it sounded familiar. The fake beard theory, on the other hand, sounds so fake. No one in their right mind would use a fake beard in public, right? Right, Rhett? 😂😂😂
I wonder how many of the fandom theories are things the crew and R&L feed us under pseudonyms? I could totally believe that they have a lot more control over our thought processes than we think. All it would take is someone to infiltrate into our conversations and add a comment here and another there to send us to a new direction. That is a fun conspiracy theory on its own!
