Totally loving the Sketching Faces class with @studio.katie at @getmessyartjournal . I’m so thrilled to be able to sketch this lovely face! If you look closely you can see remnants of a colourful background. But it all got a bit chaotic and I decided I hated it. So I covered everything except the face with black gesso and started again. Ah... much better! #gmsketchingfaces #gmseasonofkindness

Days 4 and 5 of the #gmsketchingfaces challenge with @studio.katie : trace a face and sketch a face! I am so enjoying learning to sketch beautiful faces in Katie’s new class. I have shied away from noses and ears forever! It’s so great to finally learn how to draw all these facial features. The class is now available in the @getmessyartjournal shop. Day 3 of the #gmsketchingfaces challenge with @studio.katie is to doodle a crazy hairstyle! Katie’s ‘Sketching faces’ class begins at @getmessyartjournal On March 22nd and it’s gonna be FAB! This page began at the #getmessyhangout last night where @gillywelch21 @theachen and @fern.and.oak.art all said hello in pictures and words. It’s also the last page in this particular art journal which I began a year ago. Hurrah! #gmseasonofkindness
