Day 3 of the #GMSLove Challenge: Love Your Heritage! I can't be more proud and humbled of my P'urhépecha roots from Atacheo, Michoacán, Mexico, which is where my story truly begins! And of course, who cannot deny the influence that Jose Alfredo Jimenez has had on bringing ranchera music to the global stage! But as much as I am proud of my Mexican roots, yo soy Chicano!
