Recently I've been rewatching Naruto with my sister, and somehow it's really sunk it's claws into me. Within the span of two months we've finished all of Naruto and are on episode 142 of Shippuden. (We watch in 1.5 speed) So of course I found myself on AO3 looking for a role reversal fic. I've been reading on and off for the past month or so, and suddenly yesterday at 2 in the morning I was struck with the urgent need to have a mask like Naruto's. I relate so much to Naruto's feelings throughout part one of the fic, and I find his relationship to his mask is especially interesting. Anyways, for some reason I could not sleep so I started learning how to do paper mache. One hour of sleep and 36 hours awake later, it's done.
