I don't know if anyone else has gone through this, but I normally don't care about my own pronouns, and hearing other people call me by those pronouns doesn't bother me, but I was thinking the other day, and I referred to myself as she/her, and it didn't feel right in my head? I guess I'm trying to ask if you know anyone who has experienced something like this, and how they handled it.
Speaking solely from personal experience? Yeah, there are people like this out there. It’s something a lot of transgender and/or GNC people go through. There are a few different ways I’ve seen being uncomfortable with a particular pronoun set handled. Some use all pronouns, except the set that makes them uncomfortable. Some try out different sets until they find one they enjoy being called. Here is a website that can help you try out new pronouns, if you want it.
It could mean any number of things, honestly, though I hope you find a method of address that suits you.
If anyone has any advice or personal anecdotes for Anonymous here, we’d love to hear them.
