By the way all of you who think you have to be trans or nonbinary to be gnc. Please be aware you have just invented a new binary for yourself and new gender roles. Get out of there. You don’t have to do that.

You can be cis and gnc you can be trans and gnc. You can be both. You can have an incredibly complex relationship to gender and just slap the gnc label on there.

It can be as simple as you’re a chick who is her partner’s boyfriend. You can be some guy who sews and cooks and cleans. You can just not give a fuck how people refer to you. You can be a Saturday butch or a late night dragster. You can be a closet cross dresser. You don’t HAVE to be anything. You can do everything forever. Just keep yourselves safe.

I actually HAVE become the arbiter of gender (I work at a second hand clothes store divided boys/girls). (it is so hard to tell what’s meant for boys versus girls) (i often just guess or put it in the less full section).

don't know if this counts but, GNC culture is: I think more men should be on estrogen and more women should be on testosterone

I definitely think that there are men who would benefit from E the way there are women who would benefit from T, but I am sorely curious as to what the “should” qualifier is here… (+ a lot of men/women are operating with predominantly estrogenized/testosteronized endocrine systems to begin with. This tends to be corrected with hrt.)

I recently figured out that shaving -> exfoliating -> moisturizing creates a face so soft I might not have any beard hair at all. I can’t imagine this is a secret, but it’s big to me, man who has to girlmode at work.
