I was going to get you something to do with Pororo, but i figured between us we’ve got everything possibly available so i settled for the next best thing!

This cute little penguin flattens out to be a pillow so you can watch your programs comfortably! I also noticed that your socks don’t look that warm so i got you some more before the weather gets really cold.

The card made Kyungsoo smile, curiosity hitting him so fast because he wasn’t sure what Jongin meant with ‘the next big thing’. When he opened the gift his eyes were as wide as saucers at the familiar black and white color - his mind had told him it was something penguin-related. When he took it out of its box he beamed at how fluffy and squishy it was and giggled because it was a penguin. He hugged it before falling flat on his bed, as well as the pillow and he couldn’t wait to use it when he watches a movie on his laptop, lying flat on his stomach on the awesome pillow.

Kyungsoo grabs the box again and took the socks Jongin was talking about on his card and laughed heartily at the penguin design. He was quick to wear them and laid on his back, his feet up in the air and wriggled his toes as he looked at the cute socks with a happy smile. Picking up the penguin pillow, he laid it down flat on the bed before sitting up and placing his feet on it, the socks on display before snapping a photo.

A Peek into Innocence | Baekhyun & Jongin

There’s always that one kid you see in the halls, the one who smiles too wide; laughs too loud. The one with too many friends and yet none at all. Baekhyun would know. He’s been there; he’s done it all. In a world full of lies it’s not always easy to tell whose smile holds the truth and whose is a broken soul concealed behind a mask – some people have simply become too good at it. And it’s usually not without reason – after all, a façade is much too tiring, perhaps too painful – you can only lie to yourself so much before you crack.

And so is the case with one Kim Jongin – Baekhyun’s been keeping his eye on this one for a while; how could he not with all the whispers of have you seen the kid who dances more gracefully than a deer in the fields; the kid with the dark skin and dark eyes but glows brighter than the sun when he’s practicing in the studio – and his curiosity had peaked but it didn’t take long to find the other, and when he did, he was wowed. He’d see him in some of their general classes, sometimes – the one the students signed themselves up for just so they could tell their parents they were majoring in marketing, or psychology, or life sciences – or something. Just a short while back he’d been striving; Baek could see the sparkle in his eyes, and the passion that pushed behind it, like there was the happiest thing behind those sealed lips too sacred for the rest of the world to know.

It’s not another month later and he noticed the kid again; this time looking like the life had been sucked out of him. Eyebags darkened, frown pulled taught over delicate features and he knew something had gone horribly wrong. Perhaps it was just a phase, he told himself, but after a while even that was undeniable. And Baekhyun really didn’t know why he cared so much. It wasn’t like this Kim Jongin, happy or not, concerned him in any way. But it was also hard to ignore the way his heart pounded in his throat whenever he snuck out back after classes to watch the younger hard at practice, with the kind of drive that inspired him and brought a smile to the face of anyone who saw him.

Opportunity jumped when he found Jongin one day, slumped against one of the large trees dotting the campus grounds, evidently clouded with thoughts and heavy with dilemma. He approached him quietly, expression seemingly innocent and head tilted curiously. “Hey,” – the other looked up without a word, “Sorry, uh… I noticed you’ve been sitting out here for a while-- is everything alright?”
