INTOXICATED ADVENTURES || Min and Victoria
What was the best way to end a tiring yet chaotic week in a new place? By going out and getting hammered. That was the only solution Victoria had in mind and that was exactly what she was going to do. She didn’t have a good night out in a long time so she was going to make the best of it. Determined, Victoria rummaged through her suitcase looking for a sexy yet casual outfit to wear for the night before her.
In the end Victoria had settled for a pair of tracksuits bottoms and a nice purple hoodie, even though initially she was going for the ‘sexy yet casual’ look, she seemed to be more for the ‘I don’t give a crap’ look. Grinning at herself through the mirror Victoria was ready to go to the one bar in town where she knew she would have a good time. When she arrived at ‘The Bar’ the bartender had greeted her with kind words, “Welcome back V! The usual I presume?” She shook her head and grinned. “Yes please!” As she took her seat in the usual spot,.Victoria had noticed that the place was more crowded than usual. She saw guys drinking away playing pool, girls trying to dance and even girls stuffing their bras with tissue behind the plant in the corner. “I don’t like it” she stated as the bartender brought her, her drink.”Well, it only gets like this on Sundays so don’t worry, by tomorrow it will be like a desert again ” He grinned as he cleaned the counters. “Say why don’t you get this crowd going? There’s a mike up there you can start the night away with a song” He asked looking up from the counters. Victoria nearly chocked on her drink, as soon he said it. “No way. Absolutely not!”
"Oh come on please? This is the only day where I actually get decent enough business! Every other day you can see a tumble weed blowing through the place, it's that bad!" he begged, looking at Victoria with pleading eyes. She couldn't help but to feel pity for the poor guy, despite knowing him for a week she grew fond of him, mainly because this was the only bar she found that sold decent drinks. Sighing she gave in, "Fine I’ll do it, only if you give me shots on the house tonight?" The bartender looked at her with beaming eyes, "Yes! That’s fine! Go my pretty and sing the night way!" Victoria walked to the stage and tapped on the mike. Everyone in the room just looked at her with confused faces and she could hear their whispers. The only person in the room that looked slightly happy was the bartender who was giving her the thumbs up. "I wonder if I should have told him that I can’t sing…but then again he looks so happy, I just cant ruin that!" She thought as she tapped the mike again and then introduced herself to the puzzled audience. "Well… Em, I’m Victoria and I will be starting tonights kaoroke night" and then she sang.
