heels  click  on  the  tile  floors  of  the    U - GIN  GENETICS  FACILITY    as  the  woman  walks  through  the  halls.     she’s  been  here  enough  times  to  know  her  way  around.     politely  greets  any  lab  assistants  she  recognizes  from  her  frequent  visits,    but  she’s  got  one  place  in  mind. 

in  one  hand,    a  cup holder  tray  with  TWO  large  coffees,    and  in  the  other,    a  box  of  pastries  she  brought  with  her  from  new  york.     heads  straight  to  the  geneticist’s  office  in  the  back  with  a  grin  on  her  lips.  pushes  the  door  open  with  her  shoulder,    eyes  right  on  the  other  woman. 

“   i’ve  brought  snacks !   ”

listen  babe  you  know  HOW  MUCH  i  adore  you  and  all  of  your  blogs  and  how  i  will  forever  stalk  them .  first  of  all  you  are  my  little  olaf  and  that  fact  alone  glues  my  soul  to  yours .  second  you  brought  one  of  THE  MOST  BADASS  SCIENCE  LADIES  into  our  group  what  gives  you  an  extra  credit  until  the  rest  of  your  life .  please  know  that  i  appreciate  your  words  a  lot  and  that  you  will  always  own  a  special  place  in  my  heart  with  your   precious   ladies .
