I'm genuinely kinda loving Gnome! I had a bit of a adjustment period coming off of xfce, that did not feel very nice at all. However, I've ended up liking it enough to put it on my laptop after I had to reinstall (I was doing a presentation on interface to some friends, and I needed screenshots showing off a few different DEs, and it got kinda fucked tbh.). Overview is just such an easier way to manage programs, and having a (Fast) universal search makes me feel quite fancy.
Can definitely feel the performance hit though. Between a 2011 Dell desktop and a cheap(ish) laptop, neither one is super powerful, and some programs are a tad slow (*cough* gnome-software *cough*).
Overall very happy with its oobe!

Firefox deb-exclusive Moebuntu Pink theme with GTK support and a custom icon (New tab background comes with firefox)
Got the desktop running! (Minus networking; I don't have an ethernet cable and wifi would need additional hardware.)
Gnome extensions are pretty cool actually
There's one called GSconnect, which lets you use the KDE connect app with gnome. You're not supposed to do that, btw
