Prompt - The book

I have been wanting to make this since i was 9, the front cover is based off the old cover for the first book!!!

I had so much fun making this!!! Really should have written all the little symbols before attaching the cover tho, took me like 3 days lol

Written in it is the whole "carry me always carry me well" and all of the ritual instructions. As well as a little thing at the end so you can translate it!!

Gnommish Dialect

Disclaimer: I am not a linguistics this could be very inefficient idk 😐

So since the symbols for Gnommish are directly interchangeable with English characters I used some existing given words such as Darvit and kadalun to do ✨

Lower case alphabet:

a = ùh, b = d, c = heh, d = fuh, e = ugh, f = m, g = t, h = n (made with back of throat), i = ó, j = cr, k = lo, l = f, m = i, n = r, o = ay, p = s, q = w, r = l, s = oo, t = g, u = uh, v = th, w = are, x = v, y = un, z = Z

Upper Case (no vowels and * means explosive letter such as puh)

B = da*, C = éh, D = fúh, F = Ka*, G = ti, H = pr, J = Rah*, K = beh, L = ti, M = ee, N = ehm*, P = feh, Q = qi (made with back of throat), R = dia, S = puh*, W = nuh, X = zee, Y= see, Z = ks, T = tag.

In terms of grammar like how explosive upper case lettets have '-' seperating them from the rest of the word and if some non capital letters have tones and barely any upper case letters have tones.

If there are any inconsistencies or if you want examples of putting words together ask.

If not have fun using a very inefficient Gnommish dialect I guess.
