Gnomonsong's been busy

I've been talking about this loose amoeba of a collective for near a year and they have finally picked up an amazing amount of steam this Spring. P&S favorites, Papercuts and Danielle Stech-Homsy (Rio en Medio) will both be releasing albums on the Gnomonsong label, as well as the much awaited sophomore release by Jana Hunter. Rio en Medio's album, The Bride of Dynamite, is out tomorrow, February 13th. Below are a few tracks from her previous effort to get you in the mood. On this album she is accompanied by Andy Cabic, CocoRosie's Sierra Casady, and Tim Fite. This has been near the top of my list of upcoming releases. .: Everyone Is Someone's .: Tiger Ear .: Heaven Is High Gnomonsong will also be releasing Papercuts' Can't Go Back, his second release, on March 6th. His debut, Mockingbird was amazing and I expect nothing less here. Make sure to catch him live at The Cat's Cradle March 3rd alongside Grizzly Bear. It should be a fantastic show!
