i feel like seki x shimizu from goodnight punpun is very underrated ship for how popular the manga is. i was honestly a lot more invested in them and their dynamic than i was with punpun and aiko’s, and their relationship seemed way more interesting and compelling. like… seki saying that “as long as you believe in me, i’ll be there to protect you no matter what. you don’t need to face reality, i’ll take care of it in your stead.” omg??? that’s not the type of thing you just say to a friend... as well as him saving shimizu from getting hit by a car and covering his eyes to protect him from seeing the accident happening??? i’m so surprised that more people don’t ship them after reading gnpp, the lack of edits and fanart really surprised me.
