It was a gift to him. His name is Elmo Davis, but goes by the name Buck. A Vietnam vet, vehicle enthusiast, (anything from airplane, tanks, trains, cars, ships but especially motorcycles) and a huge cat lover. One point he had over 25 cats living in his house and half dozen of stray outside. I always wanted to be like him without his mooching hippy friends that I wanted to punch them in the faces. And minus his disability.
Fixed minibike for kids to ride and helped clean the garage for the party. Yes that is a striper pole. We are not gonna have strippers for the party.
Worked on CB500F. It is pain to take and put carbs on and off of the bike. She runs great now. Click on the pictures for description

My next door neighbor still has the jacket. She came over show it to Mitch and Kirk when I told her they were here to help me set up nuther AC unit.
Went to visit old friend, Buck.
He is a crazy old cat gentleman. He has about 20-30 cats in his property. He also likes anything with motor. Used to ride with him. He doesn't any more due to his health issues. He showed off his new acquisition 1950 DeSoto in his garage.
After fixing Kirk's GL1000, we ride around. Visited some friends I hadn't seen for a while. I have never visited Micheal Todd since he's passing.
Changed oil on GL1000.
Needed 17mm and 22mm sockets to loosen the drain plug and the oil filter cover. I had to go buy 22mm socket. I didn't have one and didn't want to nick the oil filter bolt by using ill fit tools just like every other guys who had own a GL1000.
