Ghostbusters Afterlife
I grew up with the original Ghostbusters and Ghostbusters II, and Ghostbusters Afterlife takes place 37 years after Ghostbusters.
Finn Wolfhard is in it from Stranger Things-which referenced the first movie in one of the episodes. J.K. Simmons from Red One is in it. I didn't know this until I Googled the Cast. Oliver Cooper plays Egon Spengler, as does Harold Ramis. Harold Ramis passed from a mysterious illness, which means that there was no name, the symptoms often mimicked other diseases, and medical science can't come up with a name for it. ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig's disease, began this way, so did multiple sclerosis. Many diseases and disorders that we know about today began as mysterious illness and kept being researched until a name was found.
Carrie Coon is in this, too, and so is McKenna Grace.
J.K. Simmons is from Grosse Pointe, MI (check out the Original Pancake House if you're ever out that way-I'm originally from Warren, MI, just north of there), and Ernie Hudson went to Wayne State University, like I did (GO WARRIORS!). My dad is also an alumni of Wayne State-GO WARRIORS.
