"Did you smite them with your wrath?"
Why does Crowley say it like that?

He's so eager to hear about this angel smiting. He's got a vested intrest in being smitten at this point and he needs to know.

Dneska znova dočetla Dobrá znamení a měla zjevení, když jsem si uvědomila co je nightingale. Teď musíte trpět se mnou. Jo a taky jsem nevědomky zvládla něco udělat k májovým oslavám 30 let téhle gay disaster. Nemáte zač ♥
This is a love letter to the Good Omens fandom.
Good Omens became an integral part of my life in the last year, but I don't think it happened because how great the book is, or how thought through the show is. I read the book a few years before the show came out, and it was okay I guess? Not my favourite Gaiman book, not my favourite Pratchett book.
I went to one of the promo events before the show premiere last year (I just go to all events with Neil in them if I can), and even though I got to see Neil and David and Michael talk it on stage, I was maybe moderately hyped? I love Neil's writing of course, but American Gods TV show left me disappointed, I didn't really care about David and I had no idea who Michael was. The trailer looked fun though.
I watched it the day it came out, in one go. It was a Saturday, and I had a really bad hangover. It was good. I didn't bother going to the pop-up in Soho, that things with all the props and decorations where, as it turned out later, David and Michael showed up. The show wasn't that good, I thought.
I realised that maybe David Tennant is actually cool, and started watching Doctor Who for the first time. I actually went on Ao3 for the first time in years, to read some Rose/Tenth stuff. Then I got curious and looked for Aziraphale/Crowley fics. Then I opened up Tumblr, again for the first time in years. This was maybe mid June?
And that was really where it all started for me. It wasn't the book, even though nothing would've happened without it. It wasn't even the show although I've grown to love it so much more since the first time I've seen it. It was because of you all. People who looked at a screenshot and wrote paragraphs of analysis that made perfect sense. People who spotted the smallest details and told everyone about them. People who came up with all those headcanons that sometimes made perfect sense fo me, and sometimes they didn't, but it was cool to. And of course, people who started writing stuff, and drawing stuff, and creating more pocket universes within this universe than I could ever count.
I am mostly read-only around here. I do read a lot actually - I haven't checked recently, but I've read over a thousand Good Omens fics by the end of August and I haven't stopped reading since then, so it must be around few thousand by now? And that's not even starting on all the art, and GIFs, and compilations, and metas - I have no idea how to count that, but I have been here, on Twitter and on Instagram a lot. Like, a lot.
You've all been such a large part of my life that you've inevitably changed it. And I really like my life now, despite what the external circumstances may suggest. So, you've all changed my life for the better. Not just the artists and the writers, not just content creators — every single person out there who was liking and reblogging.
I love you all so, so much.
thinking about the gomens lockdown video again and. idk the fact that crowley offers to just come over and Watch aziraphale eat cake really just supports our theory that crowley really DOES like watching aziraphale eat and that it makes him happy .........
anyways if that isn't a sign of pure love .....
ok wait so if the lockdown video confirmed aziraphale stress bakes.. imagine how much he would've stress baked after any of the quarrels he had with crowley....
like after the whole asking for holy water incident.. i can't help but image him going at High Speeds baking cakes and whatnot, maybe even making one with holy water bc he's just absolutely fired up and if crowley wants holy water well here ya go holy water cake
i'm just saying... there are a Plethora of ideas out there pointing to this man and his need to stress bake and how/why he Would stress bake
in conclusion that was one of the few things my monkey brain took away from the video thank u
guys we're on trending !!!! i'm having flashbacks to when the show first released and we stayed on trending for at Least two weeks holy shit !!!!
I just really love David's whole outfit here. You can see some pant leg reflected in the mirror behind him and it's just such a good look
Esquire?!
Anthony J. Crowley Esq.
If course Aziraphale keeps up with how many generations Crowley's had this name now
